Thomason Jewelers was founded in 1970 by Earl Thomason, a proud veteran of the US Navy. With 23 years of experience in the jewelry business, Earl wanted a more personal relationship with his customers.
In 1972, Earl moved the business to the (now) Historic Laurens Square where it has remained for over 50 years. The business has been cemented as a cornerstone of Laurens and remains the oldest currently-operating business on the Square.
Earl's son, Jeff Thomason opened the Clinton branch in 1984. As a team, Earl and Jeff provided repairs, specialty service, and a personal touch to every corner of Laurens County.
In 2013 business was consolidated to the primary Laurens location. Here father and son worked together until Earl retired.
Jeff continues to operate the business, personally seeing to repairs and service. Over the years, he has built strong relationships with customers, many of whom now span multiple generations.
His dedication to quality craftsmanship and personalized attention ensures the legacy of Thomason Jewelers endures.
